My uncle loved his title of "uncle Billy". All my friends knew him as "uncle Billy". He was my mentor growing up and I'm so very greatful for all he taught me. He was a exceptional Mason. He loved his work. He created and built so many stone walls in the Peekskill area. He would always tell me, these walls will out live us both and be around for many years for people to enjoy. He was right. He was the funniest guy I have ever known. He was an entertainer full time just to make you laugh. People who didn't know Billy thought he was crazy lol. But his family and friends knew that's just our Billy. He used to say "That's just the kind of guy I am" and laugh with him big smile. He raised his boys to be good boys and then Gentleman. How very proud he was of them boys. Billy loved his family and friends and we certainly loved him. God has more work for Billy now. We are sad he had to leave. Goodbye Uncle Billy. I love you and will miss you forever.

My Uncle Billy was one of a kind. Everyone has a story to tell about him. He loved making you laugh and playing pranks (especially in public!). He didn't care what strangers thought about him. I remember working customer service behind a glass window, and he banged on the window, yelling, pretending he was an irate customer! I had to try and explain to my coworkers, oh that's just my Uncle Billy. Everyone of us who were blessed to know him can tell you a story like that, reminding you not too take things too seriously. He could be serious too. He always wanted to know how I was doing and made me feel special and cared for. I enjoyed our faith discussions, his revering St. Padro Pio. He admitted his mistakes, and like the rest of us wished he could of done some things different. He taught me a lot. He taught me to watch out for the bad guys in the world because he knew I was naive. He was tough, and strong, and sweet and sentimental. My condolences to my cousins Joey and Stephen and his brothers and sisters and his nieces and nephews and all extended family and friends. I know your heart is hurting like mine because someone big, someone special just left us. He left us with a lot of great memories and lots of funny stories, and lots of laughs, lots of love, he left us with endless stories to share when we remember him. Let's all share a story, it will lift our hearts! Rest In Peace Uncle Billy - you were one of a kind! Thanks for being you!!! Love, Julie
